That show is AWESOME! My old roommate got me hooked on it a few months ago and I haven't missed an episode yet.

Great blog btw. Stumbled upon it surfing earlier and it's definitely going in my bookmarks.

@al
Yeah I thought that should have been on the list but unfortunately I have not witnessed that particular scene for myself.

@Matthew Jabs
Thanks for stopping by. Yeah I really think that this show is one of the more interesting and original that I have seen as of late. Especially out of those of the reality tv genre. I have not found a time soon that Survivor Man is on, but I will definitely take a gander if I ever see it on. In regards to the camera crew, I know that they are there and that must make the experience a little different. Nevertheless I am appreciative of the nice shots that they can get because they have someone else holding the camera. It would get really old after a while to always just see things from the person's point of view. But those are just my quick thoughts on it.

lol...

The elephant poo squeeze was pretty disgusting! Remember when he took off his shirt and pissed on it to try & stay cool in the desert? That was pretty awesome!

This is one of my favorite shows.

I have watched Survivor Man too, and although it's not as good as Man vs. Wild, it is still pretty cool to watch. The difference is that Bear has a camera crew & the Survivor Man doesn't, he has to film it all himself so the cinematography isn't as good...however it does make his survival experience that much more realistic.

@Mark Laymon
Haha I'm definitely glad that they show Bear messing up and falling down (both literally and figuratively) because it shows that it's not easy as pie. Thanks for the heads up on Survivor Man, I'll make sure to watch it if I see it on.

@kiki
See the first line of the post. :P I heard of the show before, but I didn't think too much of it. It was only after I watched it that I saw how appealing and interesting the show was. It's interesting even for people not really into outdoors-related things!
