xkcd: Imposter

Tagged as: , , Jul 18

xkcd is a webcomic that I know and love. It has all sorts of amusing thoughts on life (with a touch of geekiness).

Anyway, I found today’s post (Imposter) rather amusing, and I thought that I would share:

Impostor

Bonus: make sure you hover over the picture in order to get the punchline. It’s saved in the “title” portion of the tag.

i took a look at the qualifier round question for the google code jam. i definitely think logarithms are the way to go for that one.

hahah, xkcd is pretty sweet. check out dinosaur comics sometime. it’s not very geeky, but i think it’s your kind of humor for some reason.

Oh I’ve seen dinosaur comics, and I just subscribed to it. (It’s qwantz.com for anyone wondering.) Yeah it is my kind of humor, though. What other kinds of things do you check out?

p.s. - your banner ads are trying to sell me heart-shaped necklaces. are these personally approved by you? hahah.

Haha nope they’re not personally approved. I would totally do custom ads if I had someone propose it to me. But right now, I’m just running Google AdSense, which generates its ads based on the content. However, since my content is all over the place, the ads aren’t super directed at my audience.

But if you go for that stuff, that’s just fine as well. Did you check out the heart-shaped necklaces? I won’t judge you if you did. Haha

HAHAHA

go linguistics!

& hey, some linguists do artificial languages like kling-on (which is actually a near-completed artificial language with its own grammar and vocabulary, etc.!)

True, true. I actually enjoy the linguistics. It’s also rather related to some parts of computer science so I suppose that it makes sense. I was even able to take some linguistics classes in college to fulfill my computer science major.

So I take it you know Klingon?? :) That would be pretty awesome!
