There are so many physical aspects we get judged on. Didn't you write about height at one time? A nice benefit to being Asian is the (usually) lack of body hair. While this may make Asian men feel a bit out of it by American standards (although the trend seems to be for men to wax...all over) I'm fine with not having to worry about this leg shaving thing. I actually had no clue why women even shaved their legs - none of the women in my family did. Duh.

We do get judged though. I've seen women with a bit of a mustache.

Hi,Derek!en,that's a good thought.I like this sentence very much:people can’t control things like where their hair grows.I will often come your blog because it is also good for my study. After all,I am a English major student.Be successful in your work.

I totally wouldn't have gone to proposition 8 from unsightly hair follicles. Nice train of thought though - very interesting! :-)

that's a great thought, derekson. thanks so much for sharing. we do tend to judge people based off of things they have no control of whatsoever. that's so sad :( i like that research article, too!
