But the meat/food thing reminds me of a conversation I had with my boy yesterday - Boy - "Why do they call it beef and pork and not cow and pig?" Me - "Well, people don't really like to think a whole lot about where their food comes from. So if you call it beef or pork, you don't have to think about the dead cows and pigs." Boy - "Except for chicken. Nobody cares about chickens." (we actually went on to discuss the term "poultry", but the conversation is funnier leaving that part out & really almost no one says that they're headed to Kentucky Fried Chicken to pick up some poultry, anyway. :-) ) I’m going to leave the whole abortion thing alone, ’cause I barely even know where ****I**** stand on that, much less where other people should stand.
